About the MINDS research group
MINDS stands for Machine Intelligence and Data Science. We are a research group from the University of Applied Science in Hamburg (HAW Hamburg). We explore research topics around the Data Science Lifecycle with a human-in-the-loop focus, for example:

Prof. Dr. Marina Tropmann-Frick
Professor for Data Science
She studied computer science and mathematics in Kiel. Since 2018 she holds a professorship for Data Science at HAW Hamburg. Main topics/core competencies are e.g. Data Analytics & Acquisition, Data Engineering, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Optimization, Analysis of Massive Data Sets.

riverMoE is a framework that offers Mixture of Experts (MoE) for online machine learning. It combines the river API and deep-river with the capability of designing MoE-architectures based on different machine learning or deep learning approaches.
